Description
This quintessential landmark building, located in the heart of New York City, proudly encourages the use of four of its most beautiful spaces for memorable special events, business meetings, wedding receptions, location shoots, and more. The legendary library lions, Patience and Fortitude, greet guests as they journey up the magnificent steps on Fifth Avenue. Breathtaking views of the regal, all-white marble of Astor Hall, arguably the city’s most monumental entrance room, follow. Downstairs, the 6,400 square foot Celeste Bartos Forum opens into an outstanding thirty-foot high glass saucer dome. On the second floor, the intimate Trustees Room offers walnut paneled walls, 17th century Flemish tapestries, and a cozy fireplace. Lastly, the third’s floor’s McGraw Rotunda features stunning high arched bays, walnut pilasters, and artist Edward Laning’s expressive murals depicting the history of the written word.
